On Monday, the 4th of February 2013, PrestigeAcademy hosted its annual Shavathon on campus, to raise funds for the CANSA
foundation.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) of PrestigeAcademy, brought their bottles of coloured hair-spray and electrical shavers,
and were ready to take on any head of hair, willing to make a worthy
contribution to this wonderful initiative.
Lecturers and students, not only sprayed their hair
various colours, but some were even daring enough to shave off their locks, to
make a bald statement for cancer.
It’s safe to say that this was the perfect excuse for the
students to do something a little more audacious, without their parents
reprimanding them for it.
Did I also mention that this year’s Shavathon was a great
success?
