We all know the term, "overplayed", used when a song is too frequently played on the radio, by your friends, or on MTV while you're trying to watch your favourite reality show (how ironic)... 

Usually when we find ourselves listening to one of these "overplayed" songs, we either change the station, tell our friends, "Dude that song is so overplayed, please turn it off," or we change the TV channel... but there's just something about that Gotye song we cant deny...

Here is a perfectly accurate portrayal of what happens when that Gotye song starts playing. It's a guaranteed LOL. 

First World Problems

If you're familiar with Twitter, you're sure to have stumbled upon ' first world problem' hashtags, and I bet a lot of you are wondering what on earth a 'first world problem' is...

It's really simple actually. Have you ever complained about not being able to hear the TV because your snacks are too crunchy? Or that your XBOX is too noisy? Or how about that your parents are willing to pay for your groceries while you're in college, but you're too lazy to go shopping? These are all examples of 'first world problems' (frustrations or complaints that the wealthier, more-fortunate countries or societies experience). 

Here's a song to rap it up for you.

A part of Twitter is probably a whole lot clearer to you now, so join in on this trend. It's amazing how many 'first world problems' you'll find you have in a day that are worthy of tweeting about. Go, go, go!

I know we have been missing in action the past few weeks, and this is not because our fingers were chopped off in a horrific meat cutting accident, or because we ran out of things to say, oh no, it is because of important deadlines on assignments we had to see to (I’m sure you can all relate).
