1st yr Nature Management’s road trip to the Two Oceans Aquarium

On Friday, 6 September 2013 the 1^st year Diploma in Nature Management students embarked on a trip to the Two Oceans Aquarium.

The students were given practical assignment sheets to complete during their day at the Aquarium. 

After the initial tour through the aquarium they received an informative talk by an educational marine biologist and were shown in-depth the inner and outer workings of marine organisms under a presentation microscope. 

This trip gave the students the opportunity to correlate and connect their classroom theoretical knowledge to the living environment regarding animal anatomy and marine ecology. 

All seemed embraced by the beauty and relevance of this integral part of our natural environment.
